What is School-Based Therapy?
School-based Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) support student access, participation, and progress in education. These related services address functional, communication, and physical challenges that may affect learning and school performance.
The goal of school-based therapy is to strengthen independence, mobility, communication, motor skills, and classroom engagement to promote meaningful educational outcomes.
