Snapshot: We are seeking a COTA to work full-time (5 days/week, M-F, school hours) with school-age students and preschool students in Beaver County, Pennsylvania!

Job Summary

A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role focuses on supporting student development in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK–12) under OT supervision
Assist in implementing IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
Complete required documentation, including:
Progress notes
Data collection
Support for IEP updates and reviews
Participate in IEP meetings as needed
Support student development in areas such as:
Fine motor skills
Sensory integration
Activities of daily living (ADLs)
Travel between school locations during the school day (between assigned districts)

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Active Pennsylvania COTA License
Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
