Now Hiring for the 26-27 School-Year! School-Based OT, PT, & SLP Careers: Join Our Team
AOT is proud to support Jeremiah’s Place as our 2025 Giving Tree recipient.
This year, our therapists and administration are coming together to uplift families in crisis by donating essential items and spreading awareness for a mission that closely aligns with our values of safety, stability, and community care.
Jeremiah’s Place is Pittsburgh’s only 24/7 crisis nursery, providing free, short-term emergency childcare to families facing urgent challenges. Their support helps caregivers navigate situations such as medical emergencies, housing instability, domestic violence, mental health crises, and other unexpected hardships.
By offering a safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed environment for children, Jeremiah’s Place helps stabilize families, prevent neglect, and reduce stress during moments of crisis. Their work ensures that no family has to face hardship alone and every child has a safe place to rest, play, and be cared for.
As a team of school-based clinicians dedicated to supporting children every day, the mission of Jeremiah’s Place resonates deeply with us. Their commitment to strengthening families, fostering resilience, and providing immediate care reflects the same values that guide our work in schools across Pennsylvania and beyond.
Through our Giving Tree donations, we’re able to contribute directly to the items families rely on most from diapers and clothing to comfort essentials and supplies that keep children safe and supported.

In 2025, AOT and our sister company, Austill’s Educational Therapy Services, continued our shared commitment to strengthening the communities we serve. Thanks to the generosity, compassion, and involvement of our therapist, staff, and school partners, we made a meaningful, measurable impact throughout the year both inside and far beyond the school setting.
Together, we supported several initiatives that uplift children, families, and neighbors across Pennsylvania:
This year, the collective generosity across both organizations demonstrated what makes our therapy community so special. Your giving, your advocacy, and your dedication extended well beyond the school day touching homes, families, and lives throughout Pennsylvania.
Thank you for helping us make a lasting difference in 2025. We look forward to continuing this important work together in 2026!
